Independently verified on Trustpilot: 4.5/5 from 1,201 reviews (checked 2026-10-04). 9 of those (1%) are from the last 12 months. A rating resting mostly on old reviews reads differently than one built on recent ones. Domain check passed: the profile lists www.joincalibrate.com. Claimed in October 2022. The 4.5 rests on an almost inactive corpus: 9 of 1,201 reviews are from the last 12 months, and Trustpilot shows "No recent history of asking for reviews" and "Hasn't replied to negative reviews". Distribution: 64% five-star, 23% one-star. Calibrate's own pages show "4.5 AVERAGE RATING · 1618 REVIEWS" without naming a source. The rating matches but the count does not. See reviews →
Watch out for
Calibrate discloses a lot, and the places it slips are about commitment and who can join. (1) THE 3-MONTH MINIMUM IS LOCKED, BUT ONE FAQ SAYS YOU CAN CANCEL ANYTIME. Its Membership Terms say the initial term is three months and "we do not provide (i) refunds once you have paid for a Term or (ii) a waiver of any unpaid installments of fees during the Initial Term". The only exits are a 72-hour full refund window and being found clinically ineligible. Its FAQ "Can I cancel at any time?" answers "Yes ... you may cancel at any time." Plan on paying at least $597. (2) THE $199 IS NOT THE COST OF TREATMENT. Medication and lab tests sit outside the membership and go through your insurance. Calibrate estimates GLP-1 copays at "$25/month or less after any deductible is met", but on a high-deductible plan you pay through the whole deductible first, and its FAQ says "we don’t guarantee access to medication". If no medication is secured you still owe the 3-month term. (3) YOU NEED COMMERCIAL INSURANCE. Its FAQ: "We’re currently not able to accept members who are uninsured, or who are covered by government insurance (including Medicare, Medicaid, and Tricare), or with Kaiser plans." (4) ITS OWN PAGES DISAGREE ON DETAILS. The clinician FAQ says "All of our physicians are US-licensed and board-certified Nurse Practitioners", while a pricing page promises a "board certified physician". The first visit is 20 minutes on /pricing and 30 minutes on /lp/pricing1 and /pages/insurance. Average weight loss is given as 15%, 16%, 18%, 19% and 20% on different pages over different time spans. (5) THE REVIEW COUNT ON ITS PAGES IS NOT TRUSTPILOT'S. Pages show "4.5 AVERAGE RATING · 1618 REVIEWS" with no source named. Its claimed Trustpilot profile for www.joincalibrate.com, opened 2026-10-04, reads 4.5 across 1,201 reviews, only 9 of them in the last 12 months, 23% one-star, and Trustpilot notes it "Hasn’t replied to negative reviews". Pharmacy partner
Calibrate does not name the specific pharmacy that fills or compounds its medications (checked Membership Terms §2 and §4, FAQ /faqs/does-calibrate-provide-the-medication-is-calibrate, 2026-10-04). That is the norm for this category, not unusual for Calibrate specifically. Most providers we've checked don't name one either. Not a gap in the usual sense. Calibrate prescribes brand-name drugs only and sends them to "your pharmacy of choice". "Calibrate is not a pharmacy and does not directly provide the medication." Terms §4 mentions "Calibrate's pharmacy partners" contacting members, with no names.
