Short answer

RxSpan MD scores 7.3/10 (#18 of 38 clinics). $194/mo is a real, ongoing rate on the plan it applies to — our evidence shows no sign it's a promotional rate that rises later. There is also a flagged concern — see Is RxSpan MD legit? below.

Pricing details

$194/mo is a real, ongoing rate on the plan it applies to — our evidence shows no sign it's a promotional rate that rises later.

Verified live 2026-09-02 on www.rxspanmd.com/start and /category/weight-loss (both public, no affiliate parameters needed). The product is Semaglutide Injection, compounded: $194/mo on the 12-month plan billed as a single upfront payment of $2,327, $199/mo on 6-month, $219/mo on 3-month, $249/mo month-to-month — consult, medication, supplies, shipping and support included, same price at every dose. A 10%-off code (STARTNOW) is advertised sitewide and brings the 12-month tier to $175/mo ($2,094 upfront); that is a promo code, not the standing rate, so $194 is what's recorded. Semaglutide Capsules run cheaper on the same 12-month plan — the page publishes "As low as $162/mo ... one upfront payment of $1,933. STARTNOW promo applied", which back-solves to ~$179/mo before the code — but that tier's only published 12-month figures are promo-applied, so it is not used as startingPriceUSD. Tirzepatide Injection is $329/mo month-to-month ($243/mo on the promo-applied 12-month plan); brand-name cash prices are Zepbound $1,069, Ozempic $1,299 and Wegovy $1,349, each labelled "for the first month". One inconsistency on RxSpan's own page: /start heads the $175 figure "EXCLUSIVE OFFER — FIRST MONTH" while its own footnote ties it to a 12-month prepaid plan; the two cannot both be true.

What we checked before publishing this page.

Watch out for

Three things a buyer would want before paying are not published anywhere on rxspanmd.com, and we checked the site's own paths, its four category pages, all four legal pages and the intake funnel: (1) which states RxSpan ships to — there is no states-served list, so you cannot confirm it serves you before starting the intake; (2) the name of the dispensing pharmacy — the site says only "a licensed US pharmacy" and "licensed pharmacies"; (3) any refund or cancellation terms. The Terms of Service, dated 3 June 2026, contain no refund section at all — clause 7 reads in full that users "agree to pay all fees associated with services received" — while the plan we price is billed as one upfront payment of $2,327 and the page states it auto-renews. The site does say "Cancel anytime" and "Cancel or change plans anytime", but publishes nothing describing what a cancelled prepaid year gets back. Separately, the /start funnel displays a "★★★★★ 5 out of 5 stars" rating with three first-name-only testimonials and no review platform behind it: there is no Trustpilot profile for rxspanmd.com (checked directly, 2026-09-02 — the page 404s), no BBB business profile, and no Reddit discussion at all. We could not find a single independent review of this clinic; the only third-party write-ups that exist are a sponsored newswire release and an affiliate blog. Its LegitScript seal (certificate 50405601) is displayed on the site but LegitScript's own verification lookup is reCAPTCHA-gated and we could not complete it, so we do not assert the certification as confirmed. On the positive side, the FDA warning-letter database returned zero rows for both "RxSpan" and "rxspanmd" (checked directly against fda.gov, 2026-09-02), and the legal entity, its full street address and a HIPAA Notice of Privacy Practices are all published. (Sources: rxspanmd.com /start, /category/weight-loss, /products, /about, /medications/semaglutide, /medications/compare and all four /legal pages, verified 2026-09-02.)

What the research says

Dr. Daniel J. Drucker (Lunenfeld-Tanenbaum Research Institute, University of Toronto — co-discoverer of GLP-1 biology) reviewed the expanding evidence base for GLP-1 medicines beyond weight loss, including cardiovascular and kidney-disease benefit, alongside open questions on long-term safety that still require more data.

Third-party records

What we found outside RxSpan MD's own site — BBB, its named pharmacy partner (or lack of one), and whether it publishes a real HIPAA notice.

Better Business Bureau

No BBB profile found for RxSpan MD (checked 2026-09-02).

Searched for the operating entity named in RxSpan MD's own Terms of Service — "RxSpan MD LLC", Beverly Hills, CA — not just the brand. No BBB business profile exists under either name. Disambiguation matters here more than usual: a search for "RxSpan MD" + "Beverly Hills" surfaces "Beverly Hills MD", an unrelated BBB-accredited online-cosmetics company in the same city with a confusably similar name. That profile is NOT this company and its rating must never be attributed here. Absence of a profile is a checked, reported fact — different from an unrated or a badly rated one.

No BBB profile for RxSpan MD LLC as of 2026-09-02.

Pharmacy partner

RxSpan MD does not name the specific pharmacy that fills or compounds its medications (checked homepage, /start, /category/weight-loss, /about, /legal/terms-of-service, /legal/privacy-policy, /legal/privacy-practices, /legal/medical-consent, 2026-09-02). That is the norm for this category, not unusual for RxSpan MD specifically — most providers we've checked don't name one either. No pharmacy named anywhere on the site. The strongest statements found are "Medication ships from a licensed US pharmacy" and "Every prescription ships from a pharmacy licensed in the United States" (/start), and "Licensed pharmacies that dispense medications prescribed through the Platform" (privacy policy). Because no pharmacy is named, no pharmacy could be checked against the FDA warning-letter database — that gap is itself the finding, and it is the category norm rather than an outlier (Enhance.MD is the only provider audited in this file that names its pharmacies).

HIPAA disclosure

Published — a real HIPAA-specific notice, checked 2026-09-02. A dedicated HIPAA Notice of Privacy Practices page (effective 3 June 2026), separate from the general privacy policy — not a footer badge. States that RxSpan MD LLC "is required by law to maintain the privacy and security of your Protected Health Information (PHI)", enumerates the treatment/payment/operations uses, lists patient rights (access records, request corrections, request confidential communications, request restrictions on disclosures, receive a copy of the notice) and names the complaint route to the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. Thinner than Enhance.MD's — it does not enumerate the specific legal grounds for disclosure without consent — but it is a real NPP.

What patients say in public forums

Unverified, self-reported experience from Reddit and other public forums — not part of our scoring evidence, and not representative of typical outcomes. Searched: r/Semaglutide, r/tirzepatide, r/GLP1, r/loseit.

No discussion found under this provider's name, checked 2026-09-02.

NULL RESULT, reported as such. Searched Reddit's own search for "RxSpan" and "rxspanmd" (browser-rendered, sorted by new) and via site:reddit.com on the open web: not one matching thread or comment. Reddit's search does not even hold the token — a query for "rxspanmd" silently falls back to "rxspan" and then returns unrelated results (r/runescape, r/radeon, a four-year-old r/itookapicture post). This is a genuine absence of discussion, not a blocked search: the same method returns real threads for other brands. Consistent with the rest of this provider's third-party record — no Trustpilot profile, no BBB profile — and with a company whose own legal pages are dated 3 June 2026. Recorded because an unexamined silence and a checked silence are not the same evidence.
