Summarize this page with
Short answer
Nu Image Medical scores 7.4/10 (#17 of 53 clinics). $89/mo on a 6-month supply is the lowest tier Nu Image Medical lists, but the page doesn't spell out the commitment behind it. Treat it as a floor, not a quote for what you'd actually pay. There is also a flagged concern. See Is Nu Image Medical legit? below.
Our verdict
Nu Image Medical earns 7.4/10 and ranks #17 of 53online GLP-1 clinics we've scored. A Tampa telehealth company founded in 2004 that sells compounded semaglutide and tirzepatide as weekly injections or rapid-dissolve tablets. It publishes only the lowest monthly figure for each, from $89/mo on a 6-month supply, and not the total charged, the shorter plans or the shipping cost. Compounded medications are not FDA-approved.

Pricing details
$89/mo on a 6-month supply is the lowest tier Nu Image Medical lists, but the page doesn't spell out the commitment behind it. Treat it as a floor, not a quote for what you'd actually pay.
Nu Image publishes one figure per product: the lowest monthly price, with the supply length printed under it. Compounded semaglutide and tirzepatide injections are from $89/mo on a 6-month supply, and tirzepatide rapid-dissolve tablets from $297/mo on a 5-month supply. The semaglutide rapid-dissolve tablet carries a monthly figure with no plan length, so we do not show it as a price. No public page gives the total charged for a plan, whether it is charged at once, the prices of shorter plans or month to month, or the shipping cost; the homepage says "Pricing varies by plan and subscription." Nu Image's affiliate communications say plans are charged up front for the full term and shipping is charged per order, which its public pages do not state. Compounded medications are not FDA-approved. Read 12 October 2026.

Questions to ask Nu Image Medical at intake
Each one is here because Nu Image Medical’s pages left it open when we read them.
- Do I need lab work before starting, and what does it cost? Its pages don't say whether labs are needed or what they cost.
- Does my price change when my dose goes up? Its plan prices don't say whether they hold at higher doses.
- Can I use insurance or an HSA/FSA card for any part of this? We didn't find a statement from Nu Image Medical about insurance.
- How do I reach a clinician between visits, and how fast do they reply? We didn't find a published support or messaging commitment.

Watch out for
Nu Image has a long record and states the regulatory basics on its product pages. The gaps are in what a plan actually costs. (1) ONE FIGURE PER PRODUCT, NOT A PRICE LIST. Each product shows "As low as" a monthly price with a supply length, $89/mo on a 6-month supply for the injections. No public page gives the total charged, whether it is charged at once, the price of a shorter plan or of month to month, or what shipping costs; the homepage says "Pricing varies by plan and subscription" and the auto-bill policy says renewals are charged "at regular intervals as described during checkout". Nu Image's affiliate communications say plans are charged up front for the full term and shipping is charged per order. Its public pages do not say so, so ask for the total before you pay. Compounded medications are not FDA-approved. (2) ALL SALES FINAL. The refund policy states "All purchases of Nu Image Medical® treatments are final" and that it is "unable to accept returns or provide refunds, regardless of whether the product remains unused", with replacement only for a defective or damaged product reported within 7 days. Auto-renewal must be cancelled at least 48 hours before the renewal date. (3) A TABLET WITH NO PLAN LENGTH. The semaglutide rapid-dissolve tablet shows a monthly figure but no supply length, so we do not show it as a price. (4) THE PHARMACY IS NOT NAMED. The site says prescriptions are "fulfilled through licensed pharmacy partners" and that compounded drugs come from "state-licensed 503A/503B compounding pharmacies", without naming one. The prescribers are named only in the Terms: "Nu Image contracts with Wellness Provider Group, an independent, physician-owned medical group", and Nu Image "does not provide medical advice or medical care". The About page names a medical board physician, Dr. Constance Tambakis-Odom, MD. No page describes a monitoring schedule for these medications or mentions lab work. (5) AN OLD BLOG ARTICLE WITH INACCURATE STATEMENTS. An article on its blog, last reviewed in March 2023, says semaglutide can be bought over the counter. It is not on a product page and does not describe a product Nu Image sells today. (6) LEGITSCRIPT. The About page says Nu Image "has been a LegitScript Healthcare Merchant since September 15, 2021" and links LegitScript's listing, but LegitScript's checker sits behind an interactive form, so we do not assert a certification either way. WHAT WE CHECKED AND FOUND CLEAN: no FDA warning letter under "Nu Image", "Nu Image Medical" or "nuimagemedical" (fda.gov, 2026-10-12). BBB lists Nu Image Medical Inc, Tampa, with an A rating, not accredited. Trustpilot shows 4.4 out of 5 from 999 reviews on a profile claimed since March 2020. Nu Image says it is not Nu Image Institute in Illinois or any brick-and-mortar "Nu Image" practice. What the research says
Dr. Daniel J. Drucker (Lunenfeld-Tanenbaum Research Institute, University of Toronto. Co-discoverer of GLP-1 biology) reviewed the expanding evidence base for GLP-1 medicines beyond weight loss, including cardiovascular and kidney-disease benefit, alongside open questions on long-term safety that still require more data.

Pharmacy partner
Nu Image Medical does not name the specific pharmacy that fills or compounds its medications (checked homepage footer, /about, /terms-conditions, 2026-10-12). That is the norm for this category, not unusual for Nu Image Medical specifically. Most providers we've checked don't name one either. Refers to "licensed pharmacy partners" and "state-licensed 503A/503B compounding pharmacies". No pharmacy is named.
