By Alexandru Vieru · Founder & Editor · Not medical advice
Independently researched · scored on our public 4-criteria methodology
A men's health clinic that also sells compounded semaglutide with B12 at $149 a month ($447 for a 10 to 12 week supply) and compounded tirzepatide, with a free physician consult. Peter MD scores 6.8/10 (#47 of 61 clinics). $149/mo, $447 per 10 to 12 week supply is a real, ongoing rate on the plan it applies to. Our evidence shows no sign it's a promotional rate that rises later. There is also a flagged concern. See Is Peter MD legit? below.

Pricing details
$149/mo, $447 per 10 to 12 week supply is a real, ongoing rate on the plan it applies to. Our evidence shows no sign it's a promotional rate that rises later.
Scored on $149 a month for compounded semaglutide with B12 (Peter MD calls it "GLP1 + B12"), the Level 1 plan for first-time users: $447 in total for an estimated 10 to 12 week supply, read on getpetermd.com on 2 November 2026. Returning patients pay $139 a month ($834 in total). Compounded tirzepatide with B12 starts at $149, then $249 a month billed quarterly; that step is on a different drug and is not treated as a step-up of the semaglutide rate scored here. Peter MD says a physician consultation is included and there are no membership fees.

- Do I need lab work before starting, and what does it cost? Its pages don't say whether labs are needed or what they cost.

Watch out for
(1) A SAMENESS CLAIM ON A COMPOUNDED DRUG. Peter MD's weight-loss page says "Our GLP1 uses the same active ingredient, compounded by trusted pharmacies, for a fraction of the price" next to Ozempic and Wegovy, and does not say on that page that the compounded drug is not FDA-approved. Its FAQ answer to "What is GLP1?" on the same page says "It’s FDA-approved". (2) ITS PRICE BOXES DO NOT ADD UP. The returning-patient plan reads "$139/Month", "$834 Total" and "Estimated 8-12 week supply"; $834 at $139 a month is six months. The tirzepatide plan reads "Get Started for $149" then "$249 per month, billed quarterly" without saying what the $149 covers. (3) THE REVIEW RECORD. Its pages show "4.9/5 Based on 20k+ Reviews" and "Over 400,000 patients served". Trustpilot's page for getpetermd.com reads "This profile has been removed" (read 2 November 2026); we do not know why. BBB lists PeterMD in Tulsa, Oklahoma, rated A+ and accredited. (4) NO REFUNDS. All purchases are final once the medication is received; auto-renewals must be cancelled by email at least 48 hours before the renewal date. (5) STATES. The semaglutide plan is not available in Alabama, Alaska, Hawaii or Idaho; tirzepatide is not available in Alabama or Idaho. WHO IS BEHIND IT: its Terms name PeterMD, 601 21st St., Suite 300, Vero Beach, FL 32960, with no company form (LLC or Inc.), and are governed by Oklahoma law. They name two pharmacies: Absolute Pharmacy (Lutz, FL) and Partell Pharmacy (Las Vegas, NV). WHAT WE CHECKED (2 November 2026): FDA's warning-letter database has no rows for PeterMD, Peter MD, getpetermd, Absolute Pharmacy or Partell. What the research says
Dr. Daniel J. Drucker (Lunenfeld-Tanenbaum Research Institute, University of Toronto. Co-discoverer of GLP-1 biology) reviewed the expanding evidence base for GLP-1 medicines beyond weight loss, including cardiovascular and kidney-disease benefit, alongside open questions on long-term safety that still require more data.

Score breakdown
Transparency is capped at 5.0. On the weight-loss page's comparison block of its GLP1 against Ozempic and Wegovy, Peter MD says “Ozempic and Wegovy are just expensive brand names. You’re not paying for better results, you're paying for their marketing. Our GLP1 uses the same active ingredient, compounded by trusted pharmacies, for a fraction of the price.” and “What is GLP1? GLP-1 receptor against that reduces hunger and slows digestion, helping with long-term weight management. It’s FDA-approved and highly effective when combined with lifestyle changes.” The product is compounded, and the same page does not say it is not FDA-approved. FDA's March 2026 warning letters to telehealth companies cited claims implying sameness with FDA-approved drugs. We apply this cap to every clinic, partner or not. Read the page (checked 2026-11-02).

How Peter MD works
- 1. Online intake. Complete a medical questionnaire and eligibility check (often BMI-based) covering your health history.
- 2. Clinician review. A licensed clinician reviews your information and, if appropriate, prescribes semaglutide or tirzepatide with a dose-titration plan.
- 3. Delivery & monitoring. Your prescription is filled by a pharmacy and sent to you, and your clinician follows up on dose changes along the way.
