Compounded Tirzepatide Online: Cost and Safety

By Alexandru Vieru · Updated · Independently researched & fact-checked

Short answer: Compounded tirzepatide online costs from $179 a month at HealthRX on its 12-month plan ($2,148 billed once) to $239 a month month to month. A pharmacy makes it, not Lilly, and the FDA does not review it for safety, effectiveness or quality.

Our partner clinics: Welludr (formerly Wellmedr) first, the only partner readers have bought from through this site, then the others in order of our score. Each price is the clinic's lowest published plan, read on its own pages, with its plan length. It can be for a different medication or form than the one in this article. We may earn a commission if you sign up through a partner button; it never changes a score or this order.

What does it cost?

HealthRX charges $179 a month on its 12-month plan ($2,148 billed), $199 on 6 months, $209 on 3 months and $239 month to month, read 5 November 2026 (review). Wellorithm's own pages disagree on tirzepatide: $247 in its store, a regular $349 on its campaign page, read 15 October 2026 (review), so we do not treat $247 as settled.

How do you get compounded tirzepatide online?

You complete a telehealth intake with your height, weight and medical history. A licensed clinician reviews it and decides whether tirzepatide is appropriate for you; paying does not guarantee a prescription. If it is prescribed, a compounding pharmacy prepares it and ships it with supplies and dosing instructions, and the clinic adjusts your dose over the following months.

Is compounded tirzepatide the same as Zepbound?

Both contain tirzepatide, but only Zepbound is an FDA-approved product made by Lilly. A compounded version is prepared by a pharmacy for an individual prescription, so its strength, ingredients and quality are not checked by the FDA the way an approved drug's are. Zepbound self-pay through LillyDirect starts at $299 per 28 days for the 2.5 mg starting dose and $399 for 5 mg (read 26 October 2026). For the brand route, see our guide to Zepbound online.

Which plan length is cheaper?

The longer the commitment, the lower the monthly figure, and the more you pay at once. HealthRX's 12-month plan is $2,148 billed in one payment against $239 a month for a single month, so the saving only helps if you will stay the full year. If you want to stop at any time, compare month-to-month prices first: our cheapest month-to-month tirzepatide list shows every clinic's lowest plan that renews monthly, and the 12-month cost table shows what a full year adds up to.

What should you check before you pay?

  • Who prescribes it and who fills it. Ask for the clinician's name and the dispensing pharmacy, and check both with the state board.
  • What the price covers. Medication, clinician visits, supplies and shipping are not always included. See our tirzepatide cost guide.
  • Renewal and cancellation terms. Read how and when a plan renews before the first payment.
  • How to spot a bad seller. Be wary of any site that sells without a clinician review, will not name its pharmacy or promises a result.

Where is the full list of clinics?

The list at the top shows our partner clinics that sell tirzepatide: Welludr first, then the others in score order. Every clinic we track, with its recorded price and plan length, is on our tirzepatide page. For the lowest price you can leave at any time, use the month-to-month list.

FAQ

Is compounded tirzepatide legal? Pharmacies may prepare it on an individual prescription under the rules for compounding. It is not FDA-approved. See our guide to compounded versus brand semaglutide for the same rules in plain terms.

How much is compounded tirzepatide a month? Between $179 and $239 a month at HealthRX, depending on plan length. Wellorithm's own pages disagree ($247 in its store, a regular $349 on its campaign page). Other clinics are on the full tirzepatide list.

Can I get it without insurance? Yes. These are cash prices and insurance does not apply. See tirzepatide without insurance for the cash comparison with Zepbound.
