FDA states it reviewed remedymeds.com in August 2025 and found the claims "Semaglutide (Compounded) Same active ingredient as Ozempic and Wegovy" and "Tirzepatide (Compounded) Same active ingredient as Mounjaro and Zepbound", which it says are false or misleading under FDCA 502(a) and 502(bb), making the compounded products misbranded. Remedy Meds does not name the specific pharmacy that fills or compounds its medications (checked homepage + FAQ, Terms of Service, privacy policy, telehealth consent, /safety pages, 60 help-center articles, Patient Manual PDF, 2026-10-27). That is the norm for this category, not unusual for Remedy Meds specifically. Most providers we've checked don't name one either. Only "our compounding pharmacy", "one of our pharmacy partners", "licensed U.S. pharmacies" and the footer badge "Compounded By U.S.A. Licensed Pharmacies". No pharmacy named anywhere. Re-read 27 October 2026 from a US connection (Terms, privacy policy, telehealth consent: "fulfilled by the Professional Entities' pharmacy partners") and the help center: still no pharmacy named.

The opposite of a HIPAA notice: the Privacy Policy has a section headed "HIPAA Does Not Apply": "Information provided through the Services, whether or not disclosed to either a Provider or a Pharmacy, is not considered 'protected health information' and is not subject to the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996". A separate Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy exists. The help center separately calls its video tool "HIPAA-compliant".
