Is Mochi Health Legit?
Mochi Health is a real, operating telehealth company with a stated corporate structure, and its record carries one serious entry that belongs beside that. The company does not prescribe itself: its Terms say licensed clinicians at affiliated professional practices do, and Mochi Health Corp. supplies administration and technology. It names no pharmacy. Patients pick from a marketplace of third party pharmacies, and the Terms let a prescription be filled by and transferred between any of them, so you will not know in advance who compounds your medication unless you ask. The serious entry is its former compounding partner. In March 2025 Washington's Pharmacy Quality Assurance Commission issued a Limited Stop Service to Aequita Pharmacy LLC over sterile compounding practices; NBC Bay Area reported that Mochi worked with Aequita on compounded GLP-1 medication and that Aequita closed in April 2026. That action was against the pharmacy, not Mochi, and Mochi says it now works with other pharmacies. A search of FDA's warning letter database for "Mochi" on 14 October 2026 returned no letter addressed to Mochi Health or its medical practices (the only company with the name was an unrelated tobacco firm). That is a search result, not a clearance. BBB lists Mochi Health as accredited with an A rating (read 4 October 2026), and its claimed Trustpilot profile, on a paid Trustpilot subscription, shows 19,429 reviews at 4.5 (read 14 October 2026).

State action against a fulfillment partner (not Mochi Health, not FDA)
Washington State Pharmacy Quality Assurance Commission (Department of Health). Action against Aequita Pharmacy LLC, 12825 NE 126th Place, Kirkland, WA (PHAR.CF.61458335), Mochi Health's former compounding pharmacy partner (NBC Bay Area, 2026-06-04: 'Mochi worked with Aequita to create GLP-1 compounded medication'; Aequita closed in April 2026; Mochi 'working with other pharmacies nationwide'): Limited Stop Service issued March 13, 2025 (release 25-034): alleged failure to implement a plan of correction; deficient practices 'include allowing untrained and unqualified staff to perform sterile compounding, not properly supervising staff, and not adhering to sterile compounding procedures'. Aequita could not compound or distribute compounded products in Washington until resolved.
Against the pharmacy, not against Mochi Health. NBC Bay Area also reports whistleblowers told state investigators Mochi's CEO was directly involved in cost-cutting decisions at Aequita; that is a press account of whistleblower statements, not a regulator's finding against Mochi, and is not asserted on the site as fact. Mochi Health does not name the specific pharmacy that fills or compounds its medications (checked joinmochi.com (homepage, /weight-loss, /pharmacy, /termsandconditions, product pages), 2026-10-04). That is the norm for this category, not unusual for Mochi Health specifically. Most providers we've checked don't name one either. Marketplace model: 'Choose your pharmacy: Compare pharmacies and find the best price'; Terms: prescriptions 'may be filled by and transferred between any of the Pharmacies'. No pharmacy named. Former compounding partner Aequita Pharmacy LLC (Kirkland, WA) closed in April 2026 per NBC Bay Area (2026-06-04).
